Help scientist find the Treecreeper

Scientist at CMEC and SNM are currently studying the short-toed tree creeper. If you see it, please let us know (Photo: Kjeld Pedersen).

This rare Danish bird can be found in parks right in central Copenhagen, and has small coloured plastic rings on one of their legs to identify them.

Have you seen the treecrepers?

They are tiny and really well camouflaged – like a little mouse. So if you see them around Fælledparken or Universitetparken we would love to know. Please send detail to Katherine Snell of:

  • the colour (red, yellow, light green or blue)
  • time
  • exact location

Thanks a lot for your help.
